The Infinite Realm: An Audio Drama - Narrator Role Open
Cherryz for Hazel Clark
Hazel is a no-nonsense kind of girl who will absolutely take matters into her own hands if she needs to. She's the friend that everyone needs to talk some sense into them and has absolutely zero hesitation when it comes to giving someone the tough love they need. Sometimes she can come off as brash but through all her forward nature she's very careful to never hit where it hurts. She'll be sharp when she needs to but she always knows where the limit is to avoid hurting others. She often comes off as the mom friend although sometimes she's more like the wild aunt, it purely depends on the situation. While an English accent would be ideal, any is fine.
Hazel would ideally be voiced by someone from the BIPOC community.

[Simultaneously concerned and annoyed] What did I tell you about chasing off after them? Let me see it, okay I've got just the thing. It's gonna sting a bit-
[Angry] Oh no you don't! C'mere!
[Slightly baffled and disbelieving] What is it, moron hour? -Sigh- They don't pay me enough around here.
Thank you for the audition! Your tone is a bit young sounding for Hazel but I definitely think you've got good emotion and pacing. The audio quality is a touch rough but no issues with volume. If you don't mind me asking, are you over the age of 18? Currently I'm only casting 18+ but I'd be interested to see your work a bit cleaned up in the future.
I'm not over the age of 18 but thank you though I could also make the audio better
Unfortunately right now I'm not able to take on anyone under the age of 18. What do you currently use to record with? Audacity has some very good noise cleaning settings.
I just use my voice recorder since I am trying to save up to buy my essential equipments.
Try giving your recordings a look in Audacity - it's a free program that is super easy to use. They have some noise reduction in it as well. My best recommendation would be to ensure you're in a space where the sound can't bounce too much :) I'm very interested to see how you progress! You definitely have the makings of a very passionate VA
Thank you! I'll definitely give that a try!
