Cosm (Pronounced Cau-Sm. Refer to Micolash from Bloodborne for spoken example), is Dune's right-hand man and serves as the unofficial book-keeper for Blaze Squadron. While coming off as extremely care-free and mellow, Cosm is silently analytical of both people and the battlefield, leading to impressive results as Dune's WSO. This performance lets him get away with the occasional mischievous act, or, more commonly, goading Proteus and Swordkill into being more of a problem for Dune. He serves as a balancing act for the flight lead, and can be seen as the connective tissue between his three other team members.
With a devilish grin every now and then, Cosm does his best to just go with the flow. Trusting Dune and the rest of the crew to do a lot of the initial planning so that he can round out any rough edges. Laid back, un-concerned, seemingly unfazed by critical or life and death situations.
Age: Early to Late 20s
[AWACS Dragoman arrives, offering help but also inquiring about everyone's SSNs. Dune replies with no mention of the odd question, and Cosm brings it up.]
"Are we just gonna ignore her asking for our Social Security Numbers?"
"Whatever you say boss..."
[During the battle, Swordkill is seen doing a continuous loop in the sky, attempting to confuse the enemy and create a brand new maneuver, the Blazing Rotation. Cosm responds to the attempt to name it] (Cosm joked about this to Swordkill before they left for the mission. He is genuinely surprised the young man took it as a suggestion.)
"I'm sorry to break it to ya Sword, but it already has a name. It's this *real* underground technique called a 'loop'. And if you keep doing it. The only thing that'll be rotating is your stomach."
[Proteus claims he can withstand the upcoming blast of a nuclear weapon. Dune states that he most certainly cannot, which Cosm comments on] (Initially backing up Dune, but quickly lets genuine curiosity take over.)
"Yeah, what she said...though...well shit, now I kinda wanna see if he can."
