Eve is the head of the Kinboth Scavengers, who is blunt, direct, and would never attempt to hide her true feelings or opinions on a subject. Despite this, she is still compassionate and tries to be tactful, but she is most comfortable when using her toughness to protect others.
I was out leading my scavenging party this morning, working away from the southwestern path. Hadn’t been out long before Kiera - (BEAT) You know her. Dark hair? Works part-time on the horses with Pippa? Well, she came back to me screaming bloody murder.
I’m not buying into anything. I know what I know. I earned that, by spending more time out here in a day than you folks will in a month. And everything Job has said so far has made more sense with the rules of this place than just accepting this as normal.
(UNCONVINCED GRUNT.) Doubt their families would say that, but still. The bodies’ll be the next best thing for them.
