Akanthus is Jaania's right-hand man. Her most trusted assistant. Kind of ironic, because she doesn't even know where he's from.
Akanthus is very secretive. No one truly knows who's behind the mask, or where he comes from. It's implied he comes from a different continent than the main character or Jaania, but no one really knows where (yet). His true ambitions are also unknown, though it seems to be rather different from Jaania's. While on the surface he respects her authority, he's often the one stabbing her in the back behind the scenes. He uses The Rose to fuel his own agenda, which is still unknown at this point.
Akanthus is cold and calculative like Jaania, but unlike her, he seems to lack any form of empathy/remorse.
Name pronunciation: "Ah-can-th-uh-s"

I like your voice, but it doesn't quite fit Akanthus. This comes off to me as desperate, like he's afraid of something he's trying to hide deep down. Akanthus DOES have something to hide, but he does it well, and in my mind he comes off as confident, not a hint of fear ever. Side note: there's some reverb in your audio, either due to a lack of sound treatment or a bad room/mic, so it sounds a little thin. Perhaps consider a simple sound treatment (pillows/blankets do well) and it should sound a lot better!
