Role assigned to: Daniel Murphy VA

The Hero's pet/partner, a child dragon. Draco is the default in game name for the dragon. Draco is canonically male.

Draco can change into an adult form at The Hero's command, with the power an item called the Dragon Amulet. Most times in the main story though, the Dragon is in a child form.

Draco is often sarcastic and playful, but deeply cares for The Hero like a sibling. He was raised from a legendary egg in Book 1 and prophesized to be the Great Dragon of Darkness, but that didn't really work out. He still jokingly uses it as his personality though, often sarcastically proclaiming himself to be "the great destroyer".

Canonically, anyone without a Dragon Amulet cannot understand what Draco is saying, but the story is mainly from The Hero's perspective, who has said amulet and can communicate telepathically with Draco.

Context (11:50 mark) for first 2 the lines above, though not great acting on my part, and terrible mic quality. Context (3:50 mark) for the 3rd line.

  • (complaining to The Hero after their return after many years)

What took you so long to hatch?! I tried EVERYTHING!

  • ("trying" to free The Hero from their ice prison)

*Ahem* (clears throat). Rockabye hero, on the clifftop... When the wind blows, I will breath fire on your hiney IF YOU DON'T HATCH SOON!

  • (kids at an orphanage are playing with him, petting him like a dog)

Cute?! CUTE?! I AM TERROR, I AM THE DESTROYER OF PLANETS, YOUR FUTURE RULER! Oooh that actually feels kinda good... Mmmm... a little higher. Very well, I'll destroy you last... just keep scratching...

Holy crap it sounds like you're straining your voice a lot here! I apologize for asking you to try. Please don't strain your voice like that. It can do real irreversible damage if the strain is too much and you do this too often.

Not to worry, It wasn't straining! I do appreciate your worry though!
