(Gossipping quietly) Did you hear about the ruckus from the other night? They say the church took in a little girl with shiny white hair and little moony white eyes. Like you know, what they say the Maker supposedly looks like.
(Trying to be discreet) Yeah? You know...I don’t think it’s out of the ordinary for the church to adopt orphans, but I heard something about how around a week ago, some of the clergy were insisting that they just hand her over… What is this world coming to?
