A child Kyouko rescues after her abusive parents are slaughtered by a witch. She comes to idolize Kyouko, calling her “big sister” and even going on to become a magical girl for her sake. Her innocence and raw willpower impress even Kyouko and eventually, Kyouko warms up to having her around. Conversely, Yuma can also show a more mature side due to her rough upbringing.
