Many "lore tablets", aka walls of text, are found throughout the game of Hollow Knight. The ones I wish you to read may have been created by a character called the "Pale King". In truth, we're unsure if he directly wrote them, so you are allowed to audition for this role even if you do not have a male voice. Depending how much I like your audition, I may have you voice other lore tablets/item descriptions the Pale King definitely did not write (about 50 words worth of lines).

If you wish to audition as the Pale King, there is no audio examples of his voice, but it should be of a king who has the morality of "the ends justify the means". His main catchphrase is "No cost too great", and he directly sacrificed billions of his own children to stop an infection that was destroying his kingdom (the kingdom of Hallownest). He isn't proud nor regretful of his sins, he simply feels he did what had to be done for the betterment of the kingdom.
