Murphy is the teacher of Adrienne and Julian and he was once the teacher of Dakota also. He is very suspicious and sketchy and Adrienne feels like he may have had a bigger thing to do with Adriennes disappearance but she isnt completely sure. He teaches English and is pretty young for being a teacher. He is around his late twenties. Murphy tries his best to act caring and friendly.
Condecending) Adrienne Look, I know youre going through a lot with the disappearance and everything, but I still need your paper. Look, how about this, Ill give you an extension until Monday but that Is absolutely it. How does that sound?
(Sad and worried) I dont know what you think you know, Adrienne. But whatever it is youre assuming, youre wrong. Dakota was my student. Nothing more.
(Caring) Look, I think you should go see the Guidance Counselor. Im really bad with this emotional stuff, my wife gets on me for it. But I really do think it would be a good idea for you to see the counselor. They could really help you.
