His only appearance is Season 2.
Professor Avalon is a Paladin who teaches at Alfea. His class of Magic-philosophy is a mix of technical magic and philosophy. Before coming to Alfea, he used to teach at the prestigious Malacoy Paladion Academy. Avalon had been teaching at Malacoy Academy for an unprecedented time before receiving a letter of transfer from Faragonda. She requested that he become a teacher at Alfea. He accepted and was preparing for the transfer. During this time, he was captured by Darkar and forced into a dungeon wearing a mask that nullfies his powers and then chained against a wall. Judging by his state when he finally escapes and arrives at Alfea, he was quite possibly tortured by Darkar. Darkar then made an evil impostor bearing his appearance and lesson plans, this impostor would become Darkar's spy to search for the four pieces of the codex. Avalon would remain trapped here for several months.
