Treat this exactly how you treat a regular audition, do the lines how you interpret them - got a voice you're really confident with? Do it! Got an age in your head? Do it! Do it!
You never changed. The same way we were in our teens is exactly how you remained. It’s like you haven’t developed to the next chapter. I evolved. I changed. I moved to the next chapter. I’m married, have a house and work hard.
I always feel like I’m behind the eight ball, trying to keep up with you and all the others and I’m on my own…working my stupid job, going to school, in debt, it’s all on me and some days I feel buried alive. Some days I literally don’t want to open my eyes in the morning…I’m like a zombie.
Do you realize that dog sent me to the hospital on two separate occasions? Nearly bit my finger off and the other time put a hole in my leg for life. That dog was a little monster. Whenever I’d come by the house, the dog would attack me like its life depended on it. Always out for my blood.
Hello there! I think your audition could be a very valuable example, unfortunately, I have decided to cast another person to do the 3 monologues for this role - though I wanted to ask for permission to use your audition piece in the podcast. This would mean the following: You would have no additional recording to do for this project, You would receive a slot of the length of your audition, rather than the length of 3 monologues and you would still receive credit for helping with the episode along with critiques from the Casting Directors. Let me know if you would like this to happen, If you do, please provide me with the information you would like to be credited as, (a name, any social media, an email, etc.)
