Before auditioning please understand that this role requires a huge amount of time and dedication. As a protagonist, Icy has a TON of lines (narration, dialogue, and thoughts.) Deadlines may typically be up to two weeks, but may be shorter depending on what is needed (such as retakes/missing lines.) There are 2 other Voice Actresses in the server for this role, so work will be split amongst you three to give you less on your plate. Currently, we are in the middle of the route "Klaus Goldstein" which can be found here. The casted Voice Actress for this role will be voicing chapters 4+, the endings, and other character routes as well. This role is an emergency casting and will need to be casted as soon as possible in order to continue with route progression. She may also do a bit of singing, as in some of the routes she does a bit of spell-singing. You must also be able to demonstrate a variety of emotions, as she is a very emotional character.

The clumsy and well-meaning main character (MC) of Wizardess Heart, Icy is a young girl who has always dreamed of being admitted to the prestigious Gedonelune Academy to learn magic. She firmly believes that the purpose of magic is to make people happy.


Background:

Icy is an orphaned girl who lives alone in a small village in the mountains called Reitz. As a child, Icy lost both parents to an epidemic that swept through her village. Consequently she was raised communally by other villagers, and views them all as an extended family.
Icy manifested magical abilities unexpectedly at the age of six, gaining the ability to cast spells as well as a special ability to speak to animals. In the village, she used her abilities to act as a sort of magical veterinarian, speaking to animals to figure out their problems before casting the appropriate healing spells on them. The villagers viewed her as a dependable and reliable wizardess, but in reality, her magic tended to go haywire whenever animals are not involved.

Personality:
Icy is a kind-hearted, loyal, and somewhat naïve girl. Her attitude is generally optimistic, and she tends to see the best in people, making her rather gullible and prone to being teased and pranked. She is also very innocent and easily embarrassed, though is very stubborn when she wishes to be--a trait shown particularly in Azusa's route.
While she is genuinely kind and brave, Icy also displays occasionally reckless tendencies. She tends not to think her actions completely through, and thus disregards the possibility of potential danger to herself.
Icy is canonically a rather terrible student, with a tendency towards carelessness and forgetfulness in her studies. She tends to be overwhelmed by emotion; for instance, she is so excited to receive the Acceptance Letter that she does not even read it through, thus missing out on various crucial details regarding the school and the provisional terms of her enrollment.
She often thinks of others before herself and in acts of selflessness, gets into trouble. She's known to be witty and smart when it counts.

Voice: Mid-high or high pitched, sweet, innocent, optimistic, and naive sounding. If possible, we'd like to voice match her previous Voice Actress.
