LCarr for Velvet Tee
Okay! New role, here we go! Velvet is Kainda's girlfriend. In the story she is a bartender, think Valhalla if you've ever played that game (I haven't so I'll be real I could totally have just screwed you all over, haha). At the beginning she's very happy, joyful & eccentric towards
everyone, she's even quite jaded when it comes to violence thinking of it as just the norm. In the beginning she even goes as far as to poisoning customers who happen to rude or treat her poorly. This all changes however around 1/3 into the story when Kainda dies on a mission with the player characters, she becomes very impulsive doing whatever she can to get her mind off of Kainda. She pushes everyone around her away and eventually ends up ditching her job to either spend her days reminiscing or attempting to distract herself. Eventually however she finds an unorthodox (and likely a unhealthy) solution. She attempts to revive Kainda through her memories, creating a clone that is 'kind of' (haha, I'm funny, laugh) like Kainda, but ends up creating Gwen instead. But enough with the backstory! Have fun with the character!
[The player characters want access to a high tier shop, but to do so they need Velvet's permission to get a keycard into a backroom of the bar where salesmen meets their clients. But Velvet wants to challenge them, just for fun.] (Velvet in the first sentence is being sarcastic of course, 14 shots of this intense mystery drink is not good for anyone at all! The second sentence should have an undertone of wholesomeness, if that makes sense. Along with that she's in a way trying to guilt trip the players into drinking these 14 intimidating shots! The final sentence should sound like Velvet just knows, it's like when you're talking about how a buddy would react to something and you just kind of know it. I have no clue if I explained this well, feel free to ask questions if you got any!)
C'mon, fourteen shots is nothin! Think about how happy Jim is gonna be when he hears that you two drank 14 shots of his drink! Knowing him, he'll probably end up turning into confetti.
[Velvet has been in deep thought about the loss of Kainda for many weeks now, and has impulsively decided to contact the gang that the players have been fighting. She ends up contacting Supreme, yet another cyborg who has been working with the gang who've been mysteriously somehow bringing certain people back from the dead. Here she is drafting a message to send to him, and she begins reading out the end of it to herself] (Alright here we go, the entire first sentence is very emotional, I would say on the verge of tears, but you really don't have to sound like that, it just has to be emotionally charged, like you're writing just the first thoughts that pop outta your head. The second sentence could be yelled out like a plead, I use the term "yelled" but really I just mean a loud plead. The last sentence... or word I guess is just a very sad and quiet, like all of the thoughts she's had up until now have come to a somber end. Like I said, feel free to ask questions if you have any, I'm always down to answer!)
I will do whatever it takes, I'll get any amount of money- get any amount of information- hell I'd even sell my soul! Anything to get her back! Please...
