Reyson is the prince of Serenes (SEH-reh-nes), the former home of the nearly extinct heron clan.
Rather unusually for a heron, he's a fierce-tempered, strong-willed person who idolizes Tibarn to the point of wanting to be more like him. Early in his tenure in the story, he hates beorc because of the massacre of his clan 20 years before.

NOTE: At several points in-game, Reyson speaks what the game calls the ancient language. My being lazy and having no idea how to transliterate it, I won't make you speak it. There is one song sung in the language, though.
Do not mock me, crow king! Tibarn is my father's guardian. If not for him, we might have suffered the end of House Serenes itself. I will not brook any insults to him.
[Sacred trees! Seed, root, and trunk! Awake from your slumber and heed my cry! Answer the call of the green, mighty ones!]
Cursed humans... How dare they defile this forest again! I will brook their savagery no more!
Forgot to mention I included the song "Life Returns" after the required lines as well as some battle sounds.
