Batman: Under The Red Hood Scene Fandub
BaldylocksVA for Batman
Bruce Wayne, (also known to crime as Batman) is the main character, alongside Red Hood, and he's been dealing with the guilt of his greatest failure: The Joker brutally murdering Jason Todd, his second Robin. He's trying to fight crime and figure out who the Red Hood is. His voice in this movie has an older feel to it. He's voiced by Bruce Greenwood (would ya look at that, Bruce was voiced by Bruce). I'd prefer it if you can do Bruce Greenwood's older and more sincere voice, so it can remain pretty accurate to the scene and keep its emotional weight (in terms of Batman's voice). But if you can't, you can go for Kevin Conroy's impression or a mix of the two. I'm excited to see what you bring to the table!
The first line is actually from the scene that I'm dubbing over. Here's the link, so you can hear his voice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgW7pBKcU4k&t=5s
The second line is from Batman: Hush.
The third line is from The Dark Knight Rises. I'm looking for a confidence in your voice, as if you have faith in the future of Gotham. But keep it humble and somewhat profound.
(Attempting to reason, trying to get it through someone's head) No! God Almighty, no. It'd be too damned easy. All I've ever wanted to do is kill him. A day doesn't go by when I don't think about subjecting him to every horrendous torture he's dealt out to others, and then... end him.
(Almost nonchalant, somewhat reflective) Criminals, by nature, are a cowardly and superstitious lot.
(Calm, certain of the future) Sometimes the truth isn’t good enough, sometimes people deserve more. Sometimes people deserve to have their faith rewarded.
