Inner Monologue: The player is remembering a traumatizing event where his friends were murdered in front of him by a group of savage defect rebels. His mentor, Lady Erdan, desperately tried to escape with him in arms from pursuers.
(somber) Lady Erdan struggled to carry me from the wreckage of Etherin. The
predator hunted us, matching her speed as she tried to escape.
Inner Monologue: In the end the pursuers caught up, the player character remembers, and Lady Erdan was killed in front of him. They left him for dead after stabbing him through the chest.
(Defeated, sorrow)We were cornered, and my mentor valiantly fought for our lives. I cursed the child's body and the strength of mine as I lost consciousness from anemia. My last memory of that moment was the corpse of Lady Erdan.
