Kenneth Chase in DBD is a creepy clown, and while I still wanna keep that energy, I wanna lean into the "sad clown" archetype too. The poor serial killer has been having such a hard time recently. He's a really weird mix of sympathetic and off-putting. He and Joaquin Phoenix's Joker would have been great friends.

For casting purposes, you should try to emulate the wet-cough and laughter that the clown does in-game. Also, I'm looking for a deep-ish to medium tone voice. Also, there's never a time when the clown isn't under some sort of alcoholic substance, so feel free to give a slightly drunk delivery to all of his lines. Just don't go overboard: we still need to understand him.

  • Eh, not really. I don’t like using the name “Jeffery Hawk”...or even “Kenneth Chase.” I think “the Clown” fits me better. I’m a failure. A disappointment. A complete and utter joke….I guess you could say it’s... no laughing matter....haha...hAHAHAAAAAA...Haaaa….

  • You know what they say. Drugs don’t kill people, PEOPLE kill people. Except for me, apparently. No matter how many fucking times I overdose, I still wake up the next morning. And every time I do I just think...ugh, you gotta be KILLIN' me! HAHAHAAAAAHAHAAA!!! Ohhhh...I wanna DIE, man...

  • Oh quit the funny business.  I feel like SHIT, CONSTANTLY. I'm an overweight, unemployed alcoholic with a finger fetish, and my only talent is getting laughed at. Well, and KILLING people. But since I cant do THAT anymore I just sit on my ass all day and drink and smoke and play Dead by Daylight.  When you've got NOTHING going for ya...when you feel empty and there's no light at the end of the tunnel...when you run from every single demon that lives within you...well...alcohol’s a pretty fuckin good escape. Even if the escape...turns permanent. ...ha...ha….haaaa…..
