While rabbits are popular, they're not easy-care pets and often their needs are underestimated. They need a lot of exercise and medical care can be very expensive.

People often abandon their rabbits outdoors with the asumption that the animals survive outside, but unaware that this is a death sentence.

Domestic rabbits lack survival instincts, they're unable to build safe shelters, fight infection or adapt to changes in weather.
