The Chronicles of Pyria: Child of Fire, Audiobook(First Wave)
Emily C A Snyder for Lilith
SPOILERS
Lilith is Husky's biological mother, and she is the daughter of Dovo, the malicious and powerful god of pain and evil, effectively, he is this world's Satan. This makes Husky the grandson of the devil, thus: his abilities. Lilith appears to him in the middle of the story and reveals his true nature that he was previously unaware of. She is a very powerful demon with deep red skin, pitch black eyes and hair to match. That all being said, she feels very human emotions for her precious son.
In Child of Fire, Lilith appears very briefly, but she will be much more prominently featured in my yet to be written third book: Champion of Devils. So if you wanna stick around with me for a while, this would be a good character to voice.
Lilith speaks very powerfully, as she is long-lived and very physically strong. She does not care for mortals, but she does care deeply for her immediate family
“Captain Husky Vorsten, my name is Lilith. Vornet here is your sister. It is good to finally meet you…. my son.”
[Vornet is pronounced "Vorr-nay"]
(Lilith has not seen Husky since he was a newborn, and she is extremely proud of the young man he has become)
“I carried you as an infant to safety in the cold Aldazanian winter, disguised as a dog, trying to find a suitable home. Away from my father, who would’ve had you sacrificed to his honor or something of the sort. Eventually, I was attacked by bandits. I could’ve taken them easily but Thorgo Vorsten showed up and... I had to let him protect me to keep you safe. I realized he would be a perfect father to you, and I left you on his doorstep. To see you now, I am so very proud of you, my boy.”
(Basically a continuation of the previous line, but Lilith is unraveling more than she probably ever has. She did not think she would feel so strongly seeing her son again, and she is happy for the first time in a long time)
“Dovo’s Realm is full of its own politics. The afterlife is not devoid of war.”
(Kind of a tease for book 3, Lilith is telling Husky about how hard it is being the daughter of an evil god)
