Otomo (/əˈtoʊmoʊ/ {o-TOH-moh}) is a timid young man who is Prince Salde’s butler. He chases the elusive prince to protect him and bring him back to the castle. He is timid and polite, and is motivated by a great deal of adoration for his Prince.
He appears in 2 cutscenes, which are the intro and outro of Raffina’s WakuWaku course. High pitch range.
“Excuse me, young lady, if you don’t mind me asking, have you happened to see a prince nearby?’
[Overjoyed at having found Prince Salde, Otomo runs into the scene.] “Prince Salde Canarl Shellbrick the Third! I’ve found you at long last!”
[Prince Salde escapes. Otomo is surprised, but immediately lost sight of him.] “Ah! Your majesty! [Otomo falls to the ground and weeps.] *defeated sniffles* I must search for Him anew...”
I think the timbre is in the right ballpark (You can't really expect the pitch of the original Japanese to stay too close in the English), but the delivery sort of feels too posh in my opinion. It reminds me of Dapper Bones more than of Otomo. If you want to give it another shot, or try out for Dapper, you can always listen to the reference samples at the top of the page! GG!
