Idyllia
Kriztax for Father
Actors must be willing and able to participate in a few rehearsals prior to recording lines, although schedules and platforms are always flexible. I want to hear your best acting chops!
Gertrude’s father, 40s-50s, large and imposing, but jovial and kind. A citizen of Idyllia. Delivery should sound somewhat old-fashioned and fairytale-like. Citizens of Idyllia live in a village that only exists, as far as most people believe, in a storybook. Accents are welcome but not required. Voice reference is Mark Addy from Game of Thrones (although British accent not required) with a dose of Santa Claus sprinkled on top :)
Welcome to Idyllia, young sir, wherever my daughter picked you up. But let us now fall to our heart’s content, and anything else we can speak of later.
I feel a little lightheaded, as a matter of fact. Must have been the dancing and the wine.
Sir, when a woman invites you to a walk, you should already have your hat on and your arm crooked for hers.
