Captain Cuttlefish is an elderly Inkling and the leader of the New Squidbeak Splatoon. He is also the grandfather of the Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie. He also fought in the Great Turf Wars, a series of battles between the Inklings and the Octarians. After the war, he has been declaring himself as a war hero to the history of Inkopolis. Although the war is over, he keeps an eye out for suspicious behavior in Octo Valley, where the Octarians take place. After luring Aqua into a manhole in Inkopolis, he recruits him as Agent 3 of the New Squidbreak Splatoon.

He tries his best to make sure Inkopolis is safe from the Octarians but due to the recent events that led to the Great Zapfish being taken, he has to do everything he can from preventing another Great Turf War.

In Splatoon, he has a medium to high range voice in the dialogue, so for in the series, his voice is only going to be medium range!
