Yami is an ancient Egyptian spirit who was locked away within the Millenium Puzzle and is a master of the Shadow Games, he currently resides in the body of Yugi Mutou, only surfacing when Yugi or others are in danger or are being threatened by those who have a dark soul. Yami has a dark confidence about him, seeming as though he is an infinite amount of steps ahead of his opponents in any game he plays. He has no problem driving the losers of the Shadow Games insane or killing them entirely, seeing it as a brand of justice due to how horrible the people he subjects to the Shadow Games are. As the series goes on, Yami learns from both Yugi and his friends and slowly mellows, becoming a less violent and murderous person.

Feel free to audition for Yugi as well as Yami, though if you do so with the intention of being cast  in both roles, try to keep both voices similar but different enough to distinguish both of them.
