Lynn's abusive husband, the king of Lumina. He's cold, arrogant, and incredibly xenophobic. He's a pretty minor role at the start, with only a handful of lines in the first chapter. After that he doesn't return until the second half of the book, where he takes on the role of the main antagonist. If you sign on for this role you have to be willing to spend some time waiting for your character to come back. Abaddon is 47.
(hissing, voice low, speaking to his son) “If you want to sit at the adult table, then carry yourself as an adult.” (then to his wife, a bit colder:) “That goes for you as well.”
“You had better learn to get that boy under control." (Cold and angry) “When I was his age, my father never would have allowed me to behave in such a disgraceful manner!”
(covering his irritation with false amicability.) “Yes, the alliance. What say we retire to my study and discuss this matter over drinks?”
