Jolyne's lawyer, a man with her best interests seemingly in mind, though he is later revealed to be on Romeo Jisso, her boyfriend's, payroll, to make sure she is completely blamed for the hit-and-run that happened when they were in Romeo's car.
I think he should have a mid-range voice, and that he should be capable of both sounding very patient when speaking with Jolyne, and also quite blunt and strict with Romeo, when his real intentions are made clear.

(Explaining to Jolyne her predicament while visiting her.)
You have been formally indicted...and your opportunity for bail has been refused. This is because of your criminal record, involving two past charges of theft which you never plead guilty for. In other words, JoJo...you're going to be sent to Green Dolphin Street Prison's administrative jail, where you'll be put on trial.
(Responding to Jolyne asking if she can see her mother -- then calling over a guard.)
It'll take some time, but...it's okay. Once you've been moved over to the administrative jail, you'll be able to see her. But in the meantime...your mother has sent you some things. Excuse me! If the inspection is complete, could you bring us her mother's gifts?
(The lawyer speaks to Romeo, revealing that he was working to make sure Jolyne was completely blamed for the hit-and-run case.)
You're alright now. Her sentence has been decided. Because she took the plea bargain, she can't apply for an appeal. And they'll no longer investigate the case. Congrats...Romeo, ol' pal!
