[describing his gun]
What, this? This is a weapon called a "pistol." It uses an explosive powder to propel a metal projectile toward its target. This one is of simple make. There were once pistols said to fire projectiles infused with magicks.
[embarassed while giving someone he likes a present]
Yes. Y-you're always busy fighting, and...and...Well, I know you've probably small time for such womanly things, but...I thought m-mayhap you might like to have that.
Kept in breaths I felt contributed to the performance
The first line makes him sound quite whiney. As I've described, Mustadio should sound confident in himself for this, much like Robin Hood in a way. You accentuated IT for some reason in the second line and made the rest of the line awkward as a result. In the second line, he sounds as if it shouldn't be much of a big deal to explain. Your third line was the best of the three, but it had an awkward start with the longer pause you put in between the "ands". He should sound a bit more nervous, a rare occasion for the otherwise witty Mustadio. Thank you for your audition.
Ah, I see I was leaning a too much towards a Hiccup (How to Train Your Dragon) style character. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!
