A lone duelist amongst many others in a cruel, seedy element beyond the reach of the Empire, called "The Abyss". Zeke has always been poor and his parents were both killed for what little food and money they had when Zeke was only 7 years old. After that, Zeke had no choice but to fend for himself on the cold, uncaring slums of The Abyss. Despite his challenges, he bears a remarkably strong will to live. The repeated cage matches he has partaken in has steeled his resolve, as he learned how to move with surgical precision. Zeke carries a kind nature under his gruff exterior, which was built after years of pain and depression as a form of self-preservation. He always expects the worst of everyone and does not trust easily. Ultimately, he seeks freedom beyond the dire slums of The Abyss, where he is no longer shackled by the whims of the powerful crime lords who rule the area. Without any source of wisdom or counsel in his life, Zeke is only as strong as a single person can be. He will not rely on anyone to accomplish his goals, but this reliance on himself is both his greatest strength and greatest weakness.
