You're talking a bit quietly, and the loud breaths inbetween lines make you sound a little bit nervous. Joe talks pretty confidently, and I'm not hearing much of that. The breaths are loud, and I think I heard a sniffle or two. Other than that, the voice you did was great! Nice job.
Ah okay! I think I have my input volume turned down but my output volume up, I can try work on that. And I just have an issue with subconsciously holding my breath a lot. Thanks for your feedback, I love Joe he's great. If you want I can retry more confidently and try to be louder. Just also didn't want my siblings to walk in and judge me. Let me know if I should retry, I don't mind!
If you have the time, a retry would be great! Know how you feel about siblings, I always have to argue with my brother to get him to turn his fan off when I record. I'm not sure how to help with the breathing, but if you aren't already, I recommend breathing from your diaphragm and not your chest if you didn't already know. It's the way my chorus teacher taught me to sing, and it really helps with breath support. It takes some conscious effort, but once you're there, it might help. Your shoulders and chest shouldn't be moving when you breathe, your stomach should. It's the way you breathe when lying down. I hope that helps?
Got it!! Thanks so much for your feedback, my singing teacher used to say the same thing :D I shall work on it but it probably is mostly nerves. Will submit again tomorrow :)
No problem! I hope I could help? Good luck! This is already pretty good, so I'm looking forward to the retake!
