VOICE NOTES: Carmen Valles has a slight Hispanic accent, often sassy and sarcastic in nature and sometimes mixes Spanish with English. She's native to Texas but her large family is genuine Hispanic in culture. As such, we prefer a younger sounding VA who can maintain a natural sounding Hispanic accent and speak Spanish.
Carmen is a mid-twenties Latina. Her family owns the Valles Farms -- a major chicken farm in the small town of Buckeye , Texas. And though she’s from a prominent Hispanic family she still does dirty and hard manual labor on the farm and is also a waitress as Roxy’s Diner.
She enjoys Black And Milds and partying but she’s also educated and thinks Buckeye is a boring town so she often dresses up in elaborate costumes when she goes to the Rising Bull bar and has guys guess who she’s dressed as before they can win a night with her. (She often rigs these ‘guess the costumes’ contest so she can ultimately choose the guy.) Additionally, she has a fondness for '80s rock music, especially Def Leppard. In her past she's been known to use drugs like Ecstasy, LSD and Peyote but not so much now.
As for Carmen's role it is quite extensive and has a large character arc that sees her going from a secondary-to-major character and a mainstay to the overall series which means her part could last quite sometime as an ongoing role.
Derrick stood in the center of a gaggle of giddy sorority bimbos. With a cocky grin and waving arms, he was probably telling them about his thrill-seeking exploits or, maybe, he was trying to charm his way into their pants with the recaps of his latest victory in the amateur boxing circuit. Hearing their girly ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’, and seeing their glasses full of brightly colored fruity drinks, Carmen chugged the dark contents of her glass.
Amateur. Vapid. Idiotic. Brainless...whores.
He kissed her. Long and slow. As their tongues played hide and seek, the smell of beer and rum from their breaths mixed in white hot passion. Moisture dripped down her inner thighs.
There were good fucks.
There were bad fucks.
And there was Derrick.
