The beautiful and broken lead singer of Gorillaz, 2D (also known as Stuart Pot) is a man of many talents. Even if intelligence isn't one of them, there's more than enough to make up for it. From a kind demeanor that occasionally lands him into trouble, to a voice that anyone can enjoy, he's perfect for the spot he's in.
Even if he isn't really the leader of the thing, and for good reason.
