Originally from Sacramento, CA, Matt Surges is an NYC-based voice actor, singer, writer, and filmmaker. He has a fully treated studio with broadcast quality equipment, and he also has access to Source Connect (Standard), Zoom, Discord, Skype, Facetime, etc. for live directed sessions. He is currently represented by Avanti Talent Management in NYC, and Artistic Talent in LA.
Matt's experience in Voiceover includes National Broadcast commercials, major tv network
animation projects, and numerous Indie video games. Most recently, he can be heard as SF-R3 "Aree" in Star Wars Young Jedi Adventures on Disney+. As a theatrical
actor, his credits include US National Tours and numerous professional regional
productions. He studied acting at the
Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in NYC, and he has a BA in music from California
State University, Sacramento.
As a writer/creator Matt is the co-founder of Raconteur Studios and has written, directed, and starred in two feature-length audio dramas; both of which premiered in NYC. When not acting or writing, Matt works on film sets as a location sound mixer in NYC.
