Daerus is a demon kin, and the second Commander you face of the Followers of Anxor. He has leathery maroon skin and became addicted to torturing people's minds with his magic at a younger age. He's maniacal, taunting his victims just before they succumb to the horrors that tear their minds apart and shred them from the inside out.
His voice I feel is on the crazed maniac scale, a bit toned down. Think maniacal overconfident asshole rather than absolute crackhead. I'd say medium-low.
[Dialogue]
1) (Smiling) Yes. I can feel your anguish rising. You're starting to cave. Aren't you?
2) (Angrily) Shut up and die already!
3) (Excited) I can see your mind tearing itself apart. It wants to split. It wants to divide! Go ahead and succumb. End your meaningless existence and stay out of Lord Anxor's way!
4) (Eerily calm) Tell me. Are you afraid of the dark?
