Frankly, im barely starting off with this whole VA thing, but I wouldn't call myself a beginner. I've been talking out loud to myself and using different voices for fun since I was a kid. Needless to say, voice acting has always been a bit of a dream of mine.
As far as singing goes, Im a truck driver and I tend to spend those long hours singing to my favorite jams, so technically Ive been practicing quite a bit. Dont know how much credibility this gives me but, Ive been told by friends on various occasions that I have a nice voice
I've been editing my own videos for a while now, While I haven't really made an extravagant video with a ton of fx and such, I grasp the basics fairly well. I started with sony vegas, but uh, stuff happened and now im reduced to free software until I can afford better software. Check out my youtube if youd like to see some of my edits
Writing? Oh lordy, what can I say except Ive been keeping a journal on and off since I was a wee lad. Im no english major, but I do have a way with words. I write mainly poems and Ive been to my local poetry slam on various occasions and gone up stage. Ive never wrote scripts or wrote jokes or dialogue, but hey, get my creative juices flowing and Im sure I can cook something up
As fresh meat in the Content Creator community, ive spent most of my days filming and recording to make as much content as possible for youtube. Ive also been working on my beat making skills to become a music producer. Not much else to say but that Ive been on this producing grind for the past 3 months straight, and I feel like Ive had good ideas along the way that ive implemented into my work and perhaps can offer input when producing someone elses work.
Now that I finally have a decent PC, a great microphone, some editing software, and instruments, Id like to start getting some real world experience collaborating with others who know what the fuck they're doing.
So if any of you are willing to give my novice ass a chance, feel free to contact me.
