Hey domjam. You seems quite skilled judging from your profile! We're still going through the auditions, but a quick question, do you think you'd be able to tone down the accent/hoarseness a bit? It also almost sounds like the character is lisping a bit.
thanks for the feedback. because you said you would prefer Romanian/Czech i was going for that type of accent. and normaly i would think with any accent speeking english if its not a native toung it would not sound perfect so in some cases it would sound Lisping. . but i will try and do it again. you want me to record and upload on here?
Aye, it's not easy, so we didn't want people to force it. I'd appreciate if you could do another take of one or two lines and drop or greatly reduce the accent, as well as trying a bit more clear, articulate approach. As a sidenote: Narrator will often be directly addressing the player similar to Stanley Parable, rather than "narrating" in the background.
ok i guess i will try in english then . i did get the impreshion im talking to the player with some of the lines.. first one felt like more a cutseen opening to the game. kind of makes me think point and click adventure zork grand inquisitor.
