Milla Basset is one of the main protagonists in the Freedom Planet series. She is an orphan Hush Basset Puppy who possesses the Power of Alchemy, as well as a love for Chemistry and Companionship. In Freedom Planet, Milla sees Lilac chasing after a Shang Mu Truck, and follows her with the intent of meeting a dragon. Shortly after saving Carol, who was trapped in a cave, after saving Carol she befriends her and Lilac, who invites her to live with them in their Treehouse. In this game, she has set up her own outdoor Alchemy Lab near the foot of Lilac and Carol's treehouse. Before she could test out her latest potion on Carol, she gets word that Lilac is in trouble being chased by a blue robotic hedgehog that matches her speed near the outskirts of the Midair Stadium! The two make haste to assist their ally in distress!

She sounds sweet, adorable, curious, and peppy. But at times can sound very timid and a little awkward.
