Blackwake - Male and female pirates/navy voice acting fer a fine crew!
domjam for The drunk irishman (An alcoholic Liam Neeson)
The voice acting needs a bit of oomph and effort. They shouldn't sound like mild talking but instead, be very enthusiastic. Line0 must be much more commanding as they are captain commands.
Improv is completely fine for the lines.

did alot of improve in this audition . but can do line for line if cast. i hope you enjoy this. it was a hell of fun :)
Great work! I laughed with this. But is a poor microphone, or peaks I hear?
thanks. its a blue yeti microphone . im just not sure how to make the sound clear when shouting..cuz this was alot of shouting.
As weird as it sounds, turn DOWN your mic volume when you need to get loud. You can always bump it up in editing, you cannot unclip a too-loud audio clip for that. Well done on it though! Gave me a few ideas, pity I've just finished recording!
allright..il do a rerecord later this week.
You need to drop the input gain by a goodly amount, and stand a foot or so back when shouting (though not TOO far or you'll get room effect). It'll look kinda quiet in the DAW, but that's good. You're not peaking that way. You should look into an XLR mic on an interface that you can control the gain more readily on, or any mic with an attenuation pad. (Shure PGA27, RODE NT series USB and several others make USB mics with attenuation switches of -10dB to -20dB (Although I'm one to talk - I had my stuff misconfigured on one of these, and I cleaned it up in the DAW instead. (Well, and it's the female pompous pirate, who I'm proooobably not getting anyway. Couldn't resist tho.) XD You have an excellent voice, by the way! Good luck!
