He desperately wants to study music, but his crippling anxiety surrounding Western string instruments makes it difficult for him to pass basic courses. Add in his intense agoraphobia, and it’s a miracle he ever makes it out of his dorm room. Dr. Marin offers to pay Graham off in exchange for reports about his meetings with Violet. He accepts her offer, but the guilt eats at him.

I got an F on my first Classical Counterpoint composition. How am I supposed to pass this class when my professor refuses to acknowledge the beauty of traditional Indonesian percussion? My participation grade is garbage since I’ve only made it to one class. Stupid agoraphobia. And my mom won’t stop riding me about coming home for my dad’s birthday dinner. (ugly crying) He’s not even with us anymore, so why can’t she just let us all move on?
