A new addition to Bowser's minions, Plant is declared in one of Richter's dreams to be the hero to defeat the kingdom of Noctus. As of right now, he's easily terrified and not very good at one-on-one fights, nor can he access the power hidden inside, but he's enthusiastic about learning as much as he can from Richter.
Voice-wise, he's very high-pitched, albeit not quite shrill enough to count as a child. Given that he's the main hero of the narrative, he's going to be featured in a lot of key scenes, particularly of the emotional kind.
(terrified out of his mind) AAGH! What is that thing!? Why is it here!?
(encouraging) Hey, don’t get so down, King Bowser! He may have gotten us this time, last time, and a number of times before that, and even that time when it was that board game, but you never gave up even once!
(in awe) C-can you teach me how to do that, Richter?
Ralph: "OW MY FREAKIN' EARS!" You really need to work on lessening the peaks of really big yells man. Not sure if you have an XLR mic with a pre-amp or just a USB mic so I don't know what to suggest. Lessening the recording volume/gain of those yells is the best thing to do.
I need a new mic. My mic doesn’t come with a gain adjuster. I did try to soften the scream a bit but I guess not enough. I hate half-assing screams though. Anyway, sorry for blowing your ears out but just know my options are still limited.
Get on that upgrade asap man. It will really help you in the long run. Cause even if you go all out in auditions, which is better than holding back, if it peaks way too much, that won't look good on your part, even if it's out of your control.
