Much like Nanako, Ryotaro Dojima hasn't played much of a role in the series yet, although the episode where we get his backstory is coming up. To this point, he's attempting to be a good father to Nanako after the passing of her mother, but is also a workaholic, typical of the average Japanese adult. He's the lead detective of the serial murder case in Inaba and is partnered with Adachi. He gets very serious when it comes to work related matters, but has a light-hearted side around Nanako. His voice should aim for a lower-pitch, preferably something with a lot of bass, and a mature sound.

  • I'm your uncle, Ryotaro Dojima, by the way...and this is Nanako. Say hi to your cousin Nanako.

  • (Tired coming home, but keeping a facade for Nanako, refers to Adachi in this scene)

You always said you wanted a pet dog, so I brought mine back from work.

  • (Confused, but also concerned)

I don't get it Adachi...how is it a couple of High School kids know more than we do...

My feedback: As it is, I think you've got the right idea for Dojima's voice. Deep, somewhat tired, you've managed to portray that with the takes you did. If I was directing I might ask for slight variations of the way you said some of the lines, but that's not going to hold you back. Great work.

I appreciate the feedback! Thank you! If I were to retake, would it be fine to have it as a comment or submit another audition?

I'm not 100% on how CCC usually does retakes, but I don't mind if you just submit it as a new audition. I'll be able to tell the difference.
