Yrene Towers is a shy yet intelligent young woman who has found herself in the unfortunate (and miserable) position of being a barmaid in the backwater town of Innish. She was forced to flee from her home in Fenharrow by the current conquering force know as Ardalan because of her unique gifts, Magical healing gifts.
Yrene is a healer and comes from a long line of healers. She has a strong stomach and a good heart. When she is focused on healing and aiding the sick and injured she is in her element, however outside of her specialty she is not the most worldly of individual, she knows how to talk her way out of a situation but is not a fighter, she deals in helping, not hurting, and is drudging through life just trying to get by, having lost everything she once held dear.
Her voice is that of a mid to high range, she speaks with a BRITISH/ ENGLISH accent, and with an air of soft authority, shes dealt with difficult people her whole life and so, much like a teacher with a young student, knows how to handle awkward situations.

Returning Character:
Yrene is one of the many roles within The Assassins Blade Novella's in that we find in the later books, so If you apply for this role you must be willing to be on the project long term. She goes through a substantial character arc and so there will be room to explore with her character.

(Matter of fact but with a lining of anger)
"Over eight years ago… That was a hard time to be a gifted healer on this continent, especially in Fenharrow. The King of Ardalan didn't leave many of its people-or royal family- alive. "
[Celaena has just let a bandit hold a knife to your throat and was going to let him cut your throat just to get you to use the moves she taught you, she could have dealt with them quickly but she didn't. Putting your life at risk.]

"You could have dispatched them without me! But you let that man hold a knife to my throat- you LET HIM! Are you insane?"
