The Rat King is a demon awakened by the witches cures, sent to torment the families. He is a Pied Piper sort of monster, offering children anything they want before turning them into rat-like creatures to do it's bidding...and what would that be? Turning people so ill to the point that they will take their own life. His voice is low and a whisper, think of the devil from the the film "The VVitch"
