Summary: Achilles is a bold, brave and somewhat extroverted teenage boy with a little too much energy to spare and a VERY protective and hyper-vigilant nature, with the potential to get pretty aggressive, snarky and defensive as a result, rashly jumping to conclusions a little too often. He also seems pretty distrustful and wary of strangers and is definitely not afraid to take any risks necessary to survive. His identity is...not quite as straight forward as it seems though, which is all that will be said to avoid going into major spoilers for Arc I, but he has a prominent role in both arcs, especially the second. He enjoys rock music, cool comics and video games, with an interest in baking and cooking, as well as trying new and daring things.
Note: Achilles is Bisexual, so his VA should be comfortable playing a relationship with another character of the same gender (In Arc II) and must be LGBTQ+ friendly.
Appearance: Arc I (Major role) and Arc II (Becomes a leading role from Halfway) - The lines are a mixture from both arcs, since ideally we would like to keep the same VA for consistency.
Personality: Extroverted, Bold, Brash, Fiery, Loud, Proud, Smug, Fun, Brave, Protective, Rash, Rebellious, Reckless, Distrusting, Egotistical, Misunderstood, Confident and internally rather Soft and Sensitive (the latter more-so in Arc II)
Voice: Loud and bold, pitch mid-low to mid. He should sound pretty snarky, being frequently sarcastic and teasing or insulting others. He should also sound pretty excitable, with the tendency to talk quite quickly at times and his voice and tone is EXAGGERATED to really convey his emotion. When angered, Achilles will frequently yell and curse, so Profanity will be required. He may also snarl or growl when especially furious, so prepare to warm up those vocal cords
(Confidently and reassuringly, a little loudly and protectively) Don't worry, Ashy. You're gonna be juuust fine, Kiddo. We're all looking out for you, every one of us, especially me. (Angered and threatening, growling at the end) I swear...if that bastard tries to lay another fucking finger on you, then I'll personally rearrange his Freaki-ing kneecaps. He can't keep us here forever - but we've gotta fight...*You* have gotta fight. Use those powers for their ultimate purpose...Nooo pressure or anything, juuust stating the facts. But yeah,...you MIGHT wanna move your ass now, or at least let me take over that task...
(Distrustful and wary, suspicion in his tone, some sarcasm) Uh, d'ya really think that's a good idea, Einstein? Just...waltzing off with strangers like that?! How do you know we can trust them? It's called 'Stranger Danger' for a reason, *duh*! What's not to guarantee that they'll sell our ass right back to that damn place the moment we get too close?! Nngh... I don't trust them, Ashy. Remember, I gotta look out for your ass, you know- and I sure as HELL ain't failing at that! *Siiiigh* Geeeez, you really don't make this easy. (Muttering in irritation) It's like babysitting a five year old.
(Smugly and a bit cheeky) I tooold you~ Anyway, suuure, I guess I can try to behave and ensure to make my presence known. I don't want to give Sladey a heart attack after all, I'm guessing he's lived through plenty of those in his time, hehe... (Flatly) ...Geeeez, I was just joking around. No need to be so boooring.
(Hissing, sounding quite excited, yelling near the end, furious) Do it. Do it, Ashy! He deserves it, you KNOW he does! We could end this now! RIGHT NOW! No one else needs to be afraid! NO ONE ELSE needs to suffer his FUCKING TORTURE! He'll NEVER hurt us again! (Speaking quicker, conveying the urgency) Do it! DO IT! DO IT! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! YOU WANT FREEDOM, DON'T YOU?!
(Feeling lost and uncertain, afraid) I-I...I just don't know what to do. Normally it's always been me protecting Ashy..a-and now...I just...I-I don't know, it's way too much to process. Do I...have a purpose? Something bigger than...all of this? I...w-whatever it is, I've gotta find it. I-I do have a purpose...I belong here. I know I do...y-yeah *sniff* (Quickly trying to be strong again) N-no, not crying! Just...something in my eye!

Hi there! Thank you so much for taking the time to audition for our project, it means a lot to us! And thanks for taking a shot at Achilles too! I think your audition was very good, the tone and expressiveness was impressively carried across, especially the fourth line, I could really sense the emotion coming through there :D Pacing was decent as well and it came across great! Just to give some nit-picks for feedback, there were a couple of lines where he could have come across as a bit more snarky and irritated (like about 'babysitting' for example) and his voice sounds a little what I'd describe 'nasally' at the moment, so if you could get it to sound a bit more gruff and grumpy / rebellious teenager-like then that would be awesome!
