Summary: Douglas Slade is certainly a mysterious man. Although he appears to be in his early twenties, he is far older than that - almost ten times older in fact. One of the oldest living supers to this day who has been blessed with the gift of a near immortality that he sees as a curse, unable to properly spend with those he loves. He has been through a *lot* of exploitation, but even his 'treatment' with Voss pushes him. Slade is a doctor at a clinic in New York and the veteran of the cities' superheroes. He meets Ash through their 'inpatient stay' and quickly become close friends. In the True Ending of the story, he adopts Ash as his own son and invites him to live with him and his partner Aiden in New York, where he can learn to properly develop his powers and work on the path to becoming a hero. He is also especially close with Aiden, tending to be a liiittle too flirty and over the top at times. He is very intelligent, kind, selfless, wise beyond his years and also very realistic and hardened to suffering it seems, but the one thing he will not stand is to see children harmed in any way.

Personality: Wise, Brave, Caring, Mature, Composed, Cool, Considerate, Generous, Selfless, Protective, Flirty, Fun, Germaphobic, Traditional, Hard and Leader-like 

Voice: Mature, wise and mid-pitch - He should be able to sound quite cranky when Slade gets annoyed, as well as soft and fatherly when around Ash and flirtatious and playful when around Aiden. He will curse and raise his voice when angered, so this should be conveyed. A Scottish accent is necessary to stand a good shot at taking this role, so please do your best!
