Karia is a very stubborn girl, but in the sense that she sticks to her guts and never thinks twice. She has resolves of steel, and isn’t easily shaken by others. She is a person who loves the thrill of adventure and getting lost, and often times will leap into the unknown, without any forethought. She’s ready for anything, wherever, whenever. As she travels, she becomes more open to others, and is willing to accept the help of a friend when she needs it. She lives on Palm Beach Island, the last remaining continent on Kaiyon with a stable plant environment. She grew up loving everything about nature, especially wind. It captivates her, and she often finds herself at peace on a sunny yet windy day. Karia’s father was a master of the way of the sword, and Karia shared his love for swordplay. Sadly, he passed when she was young due to falling ill. As her father’s last will, he gives Karia his finest katana, “the Blade of Wind” for her to claim as her own. Her father named his blade this because of his love for his daughter. He believed when he saw her symbol, he could feel his daughter’s spirit, free as the wind, and thus, he wanted her spirit to resonate within his blade. Because of this, Karia wishes to keep her father’s spirit alive in turn, and become a master of the sword herself. Ever since Karia was a kid, she’s had a black symbol on her forhead that had always puzzled her parents. As she grows older, she learns that this is a Spirit Symbol, a mark on one’s forehead that shows their Spirit Ability. Due to Karia’s love of wind, she learns that this symbol is her own Spirit Symbol for wind, thus granting her the ability to control wind flow. She trains these abilities along with her sword fighting, and eventually earns herself the name of “Samurai of the Wind” in battle. Her love of combat and her will to carry on in her father’s footsteps pushes her to leave Palm Beach in hopes to travel across the world learning more and more about fighting.She misses her father very dearly, and sometimes feels lonely without him, causing her to long for friends to be able to turn to in times of need. After her father’s death, she painted her Spirit Symbol in white paint onto the sheath of her father’s blade, as homage to the name, and in remembrance of her youth. She heard rumors of two “Legendary Spirit Warriors” whom, by prophecy are the strongest fighters in the world. In hopes to find them, she sets off, leaving no tracks, and without looking back.
