As a Union leader, Ventus is very friendly, though somewhat shy. He dislikes the idea of Keyblade wielders fighting against each other. In the mystery of Strelitzia's disappearance, Ven felt extremely guilty that he may be the cause of her demise but through his dreams he discovers that he wasn't but Darkness was waking up in regret that he couldn't or didn't do anything to save her

I'm not sure what it is, but your voice doesn't scream Ventus to me

Try to put more emotion into it and raise the pitches by a few notes. Ven in Union Cross is much younger than he was in Birth by Sleep. Looking through his voice references on YouTube might help.
