Charan Bakir is a member of what's called the Hermit Kingdom. She takes great pride in her village and seeks new ways to improve the living conditions of both her and her people. However, as time passes, she questions the history and the future of the place she calls home.


  • That's because I am the only one who has seen the evils of the Pyramids firsthand and are able to tell the tale.


  • My ancestors were naive in the ways the arcane, and had no reasonable way to wrest her from her anguish.


  • If I hadn't known any better, I would've assumed this was all but a bad dream. I feel as if this dark omen is too nightmarish for a waking mind.
