Supporting Character
Alexender (Pronounced Alexander) is the wealthy guardian and adoptive father of Bryan Haez and Janice. A man just entering middle age, he's a philanthropist and quiet fellow, but well liked in the community, in public he's seen as a busy, friendly, thoughtful and outgoing man. In private, he's merely trying to make the most of what his family has left him, as he is one of the last surviving members of the Davis family.
Troy Baker comes to mind of this character's vocal range, but feel free to experiment. Bruce Wayne is the vibe I'm going for, minus the Batman alter ego, of course.
"There's this quote I once heard: 'Maybe who we are isn't so much about what we do, but rather what we're capable of when we least expect it.' Every time I hear this quote, I think of you." (sincere, thoughtful, giving Bryan advice)
"It's a genetic trait, I think. I know my father liked to do the same thing whenever he would have gatherings with friends and members of the family. He did like to show off." (nostalgic, mild amusement)
"Not to my knowledge. I have done my utmost best to wash away the taint, the bad luck, the stain that has fouled my family, but it seems no matter what I do, I feel its' weight. It is crushing me, father." (overburdened, speaking in a confessional to a priest)
That was.... incredibly touching. The emotion. And the final line, I heard it. You did a fantastic job embodying what he was feeling in that scene. So yes, I liked this immensely, thanks man!
