H.B. (short for Horror Buff) is one of Meryl's only confidants. He is her partner & handler when it comes to her Mercenary assignments. Mostly working from behind the scenes, he's talkative, polite, resourceful and kind. He's also an avid fanboy when it comes to various film & tv shows, specifically the horror genre.
To me, he'd sound similar to Daniel Gillies.
"So what kind of doctor needs his own security team, hm?" (teasing/joking)
"How do you deal with it? The pressure you put yourself under? The job of mercenary and mother, and separating them. Or using the skills of one to help the other? How do you make these decisions without it taking your soul in the process?" (sincere & concerned)
"Well... I do have one idea. It'll serve as enough of a distraction to help us make an escape. But you'll have to hold out until I can make it happen." (Brainstorming/Suggesting)
