The Arrancar guard is a minor character as a guard outside the gate to Dante's castle. He is set to his duty, yet can be brought into line quickly by the higher ranked arrancar in Dante's army. Although a subordinate, he's not afraid to voice his opinion and question things.

Like what I mentioned with your muerte, I think this is being read very quickly and feels a bit too rushed. Also, considering the appearance, I feel the voice is too gravelly to work and he should sound more like a rebelious punk that although does what he's told, isn't beyond asking questions if something is up. Plus the way you say "where are you..." makes it sound like he's just pondering this instead of being questioning. Since the scene is Muerte is leaving and you are wondering why he's doing this so suddenly so you begin to question him before Muerte cuts him off mid sentence. I hope this feedback is helpful
ooh ok. It makes more sense how you put it this time around. He's leaving suddenly and wondering why. so muerte where are you? seemed to me like it was a questioning him and his motive. After reading your response it makes more sense as to what the guard was doing. Thanks again!
