Foreword: This character was present in the previous casting round but we recently had a need to recast and thus he is being added as a character for this casting round. Auditions made in the previous round will be considered as well.

Firstly, to know Jupe, one must know he is part of the Trochili, a tribe of vault dwelling lizard people that were originally feared barbarians but now spend their time trading and taking drugs, partying it up, raiding settlements, trading weapons, and mass fornicating. They are usually extremely high and chilled out. Jupe is the Oldest of the Trochili thanks to a genetic mutation that allows his body to endure far more chems than most. Jupe remembers the Trochili's history but also has a weird obsession with 'god' and is a bit senile.

With some Trochili such as Jupe, they will often overuse sibilants in between their words. In other words, they will often over annunciate and add a lot of "s" sounds when speaking; they sound like snakes. Moreover, this means the extra "s's" within lines are there on purpose and to be annunciated. For a reference, I'd like a voice that's a mix between Kaa from Jungle Book Animated Version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nh5kxentrY0) and a breathier and older sounding interpretation of the Male Argonian from Morrowind (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBIGrJGMc0k).

Record all audition lines while referring to the notes below for each line and do one take of each line.

For the audition line, at the beginning (hhhhhh) you are drugged out of your mind before realizing the courier is standing next to you. You quickly snap to your senses and relaxingly greet him/her. You are still as high as a kite.

  • hhhhhh- Oh hello. I ssapologize, I was busy sstalking to God. Was there sssomething you needed human?

There's a bit of reverb in your recording.
